«War Horse» is a war film produced and directed by Steven Spielberg based on Michael Morpurgo’s novel which was written in 1982. This war epic is all about loyalty and friendship of a young boy to his horse, Joey which has to face the bitter realities of the first world war. Captivating from beginning to end , with terrific shots and a strong narrative, «War Horse» demonstrate how human and animals are connected and spirit’s strength.
«Alpha» brings the audience through their Stone Age adventure where the protagonist Keda, a tribal boy, who becomes a man through surviving in wilderness sets out on a journey that was spurred by tradition, loyalty and the friendship that develops between the boy and the wolf. It is very significant and adventurous movie which is based on the strict survival in the wild world, friendship and trust between animals and humans during the Ice Age. All in all, thanks to remarkable graphics and moving plot «Alpha» is to be regarded as a fascinating and stirring picture.
Adapted from a Jack London novel, «The Call of the Wild» is a novel revolving around Buck, a large, housepets which is taken by a miner to the Klondike region in Yukon during the rush of gold fever. John Thornton is played by Harrison Ford and it is with this character that Buck has the opportunity to truly bond with over their ventures into the wild. The beautiful and enchanting tale that this movie is based on is splendidly captured in the movie as it acts as a platform for expressing the bond between man and creature.
